When you registered to vote, if you initialed the “Vote By Mail” option on your registration form, you will receive your ballot approximately 29 days prior to the election. To vote, follow the instructions on the ballot.

IF you have not received your ballot by 20 days before the election, please contact our County Clerk’s office and explain the problem.

IF you prefer to vote at a polling place but received a “Vote by Mail” ballot, please take it with you to a designated polling place. It is important that you do NOT rely on provisional ballots provided at polling places. Although we expect our County Clerk’s office to provide a sufficient number of provisional ballots, it did not happen in the 2016 primary election.

In any event, you may cast a ballot at a polling place on Election Day, regardless of any other action you may have taken. Provisional ballots are counted last, once it is confirmed that you did not vote elsewhere in the current election.
